What do you mean not true for fresh? I paid $2500 for fresh Kaiser with SG. Meds were covered 50%.
One fresh cycle at SGF is $7,500. It's def. not $2,500 total for that. My nurse actually said that the $7,500 is for self paying patients. If you have insurance (full or partial) it's even more.
Kaiser has a negotiated rate of $5000 or so with Shady Grove of which a Kaiser patient ( non federal plan) is responsible for 50%. OP is specifically asking about Kaiser.

B. Limitations
Coverage for in-vitro fertilization embryo transfer cycles, including frozen embryo transfer (FET) procedure, is limited to three (3) attempts per lifetime, not to exceed a maximum lifetime benefit of $100,000.
C. Exclusions
Any charges associated with freezing, storage and thawing of fertilized eggs (embryos), female Member’s eggs and/or male Member’s sperm for future attempts.
