Subject: Fee for school-based sports?
OP here. We’re in MCPS. Can someone please tell me specifically what costs are involved on school-based sports?

No school sponsored sports in MS in Fairfax County ( a few after school intramural type programs but those are different). They went the way of the budget ax decades ago. Yes, there are fees for sports in HS.

Probably depends where you are, but our experience in MCPS is that yes there are costs. But you don't pay a fee to join.

Do you have to pay for school-based sports at public middle schools and high schools?
