Subject: how can one found out if someone was fired from the job?
You can ask if they are re-hirable but 99% of the time the company will say yes. You may be able to get away with having the candidate sign a release form that would disclose if they were voluntarily or involuntarily terminated from their previous position. But that would be a pretty slippery slope if you found out they were fired and then did not hire them.
Why do you want to know?

I think you can still ask if a company would rehire the person.

Most companies wouldn't disclose that info these days, only confirm dates worked, title, and sometimes salary.

How can one found out if someone was fired from the job?
Should a company be able to run a background check that would tell if a employee was fired from a job?
