For the last few years mom asked us not to bring phones to the table so that we could talk to each other. This was ridiculous, and we ignored her. I wanted to post my kid's first T-Day on Facebook and others had to do similar things. I was invited to Thanksgiving with a family last year who had their cell phones out checking messages during the meal!
