Totally agree. Snap a couple pics of baby in the chair with some food in front of him. Thanksgiving is not a big photo op. It’s a time to gather with family and be thankful for the things in your life—which should include a great mother who raised you, fed you, paid for things, consoled you. You sound ungrateful and bratty and she is well within her rights.

Do your parents live nearby? Your parents are going to a large Thanksgiving party rather than hosting. That's not a sign of dementia rather it's recognizing their children are adults and might not feel like traveling. If they are local stop in or invite them over for brunch.

I was invited to Thanksgiving with a family last year who had their cell phones out checking messages during the meal!
Assuming this is not a troll post (it probably is), no they still have all their marbles - at least on this subject.
