I signed into Starbucks and got my award points for purchasing. It is a definite blend. I would say is a light to medium roast. I brewed my first cup yesterday. It seemed a little weak. Today, I added another scoop of coffee, and it was a little more flavorful. Would I buy again, probably not.

Thanks, PP.

Amazon sells it and has reviews. It is a medium roast.

Can you tell me if the winter blend is a dark or medium roast?

Is this something that’s only at Costco? Maybe they’ll have samples on the release day.

Yes, OP here and we love the sbux french roast. It's a staple that we'll supplement with some of the other varieties from the store from time to time.

We might try a bag, but I would feel bad about grinding the entire bag and returning. Guess I can always offload at work if we don't like it.

Yikes. Shameless.

Agree. Costco is very generous with samples. Why not track down a sample, hm?

I was briefly tempted but I think Starbucks over-roasts their beans.

It is coming on sale at costco next week, but not sure if we should try that huge 40 oz. bag.
