How about instead of whining to a bunch of know-nothings, call mcps and ssk. That's what I did.
The reason for getting out graduation date late is they're not all being held at DAR. The new vendor, I assume the College Park venue (they wouldn't name names), takes longer to get things done. There are more categories of stakeholders here than in other counties. Do you think St. Mary’s or Baltimore City are worried about fitting in the Jewish High Holidays? Do you think the far western counties or the Eastern Shore have thousands of DCUM-type parents all clamoring to protect Spring and Winter Breaks, plus get in enough instruction before AP exams?

It seems like it. Hopefully they come up with a calendar soon. I think it’s reasonable that people want to plan.

DH’s sister is getting married overseas next November. Was hoping to have some ideas about the school schedule. Since there are usually some half-days in November (or at least this year, there are 3).
Anyone in the know? Or when do they normally finalize the calendar by? December?
