Either are fine. She should wear the ones that she feels comfortable and confident in.

I’m your height and never wear heels. The point of heels is to add height and posture. I don’t need help in those areas.

Heels are more formal and traditional (low heels are fine). In today's world, however, most employers would not find flats inappropriate or think twice about them.

My DH and I talk extensively about fashion choices so I don't think this is that weird. However, your wife'S comment about women who wears heels is very judgmental. She should wear what she wants as long as it looks professional. I think pointed flats look more polished than rounded but heels are usually best for this.

I cannot possibly imagine my husband caring as to whether I wore heels or flats to an interview. Or him caring as to whether a woman is wearing flats or heels when he conducts interviews.

Women are fine in pants. Please don't pass this dated thinking on to your children.

Although I disagree that women who wear heels come off as high maintenance, I think flats are fine and I've worn them to interviews.

But stay out of it. Your wife knows what is best for her career.

Heels for the interview, especially in a senior role. Also, a skirt suit.

And this is her decision—not yours.

I'd say heels. They can be kitten heels. I think heels elevate an outfit. She can wear flats after she gets the job. If heels make her uncomfortable and impact her performance during the interview then she should wear flats.

The answer is always heels. They do not have to be high--an inch and a half is fine.

I think your wife is able to decide for herself what she wants to wear to her interview, regardless of your opinion of what you think successful women do.
