If they don't know, just plan the surgery and don't worry about it. Missing an SOL in 3rd grade means nothing....

This is incorrect. A student must pass a certain number of SOLs to receive a HS diploma. A students needs a Pass Advance on the 7th grade Math SOL to be able to take Honors Algebra in 7th grade.

Anonymous wrote:They will probably occur in the mid-May to first week of June timeframe. If a student misses a test they can be made up later. I would schedule the surgery earlier rather than later if you are concerned about a conflict.
