Yep. I agree and I don't condone underage drinking either.
I agree. But I also think the driving age should go up to 22, with an exception for those who need it for work before then.

Unfortunately I have no recent experience, but this happened all the time when I was in college at Georgetown and generally it was just a matter of school discipline. I can't imagine why on earth it would be necessary to call the cops. That said, my now-DH was also caught buying underage in college by actual cops, and he got a citation and had to pay a fine as I recall. He didn't lose his license. But again, this was in the 2000s in DC so not super relevant.
