he didn't do anything. He's in his late 20s now and judging by the tiny bit I know about his dating life he's not having any problems.
Like any body thing that might be different (like a big birthmark) kids are going to feel weird about it. No one wants to be different.
I'd explain to him that it used to be standard operating procedure in the US only but it's going out of favor. (Show him statistics). So their are plenty of other guys out there. Also may want to mention that when erect it's very difficult if not impossible to tell the difference between circumcised and not.
