Nothing to fix. Great, then stop whining about so called "sanctuary cities."

Oh, oops, what's that?

Oh, you want enforcement in big cities? Fine, then provide the damn resources. Immigration is FEDERAL responsibility, per the Constitution.

Federal responsibility duly carried out like this:

"ICE arrests hundreds of immigrants in 'sanctuary cities' around the nation, California"

OK, the feds are doing their job: will the liberals and the Hispanic lobby not whine about it?

Yep, the feds are really doing their job ....... this is how one fixes immigration:

ICE arrests over 450 on federal immigration charges during Operation ‘Safe City’

And can't complain when employers stiff them. The ideal workforce for fatcats.

+1 my thoughts exactly, but PP had it correct, Rs are beholden to businesses and businesses like cheap foreign labor. Just ask Trump. He wanted to hire a man for Labor Sec who publicly stated that he likes cheap foreign labor. Someone will come on here and say H1Bs must go; SV CEOs have lied to you blah blah blah... the reality is that H1Bs are supported by both Rs and Ds.

And if Rs and Trump really wanted to champion workers then they shouldn't want a conservative SCOTUS:

Except that it's NOT working. The labor is needed, but keeping it on the level of slave labor means keeping workers illegal.

That's it in a nutshell. If drug trafficking comes in with the human trafficking, oh well.

Seriously I am so damn sick of thread after thread with some crap about "illegals". The Republicans have the power - so fix the system or shut up.

This is 100% a Republican/Conservative problem.

Because they know they need them. But they hate them too.

It is hard being a Republican!

Why do people keep posting and complaining about immigration? The president is Republican, the Senate and House are majority Republican and you can get whatever you want passed without the Democrats.

So fix it the way you want it and stop posting and complaining about it!

Anything that is not getting done is your fault, Republicans. Do SOMETHING.
