We subscribe to Hulu (for recent shows), Netflix (the kids like it, Amazon Prime (only because we have Prime anyway), and Sling TV (for live TV). I only wish we had some way to get MASN, the sports network, but that's it. I don't feel we're missing anything, and that we're getting a lot of value for what we have.

How much does this cost you total?

Three networks plus public TV are free. We also have Netflix and Apple TV, which has no cost beyond the initial "box." It allows us to purchase a season pass for any program we want to watch regularly. It also gives us access to Youtube on TV, which has many good programs.

We have an antenna, Netflix, Hulu and Amazon. The only post-cord cutting add on was Hulu.

We pay $75/ month for the highest internet speed possible as I work from home.

I never had cable. I don’t even understand why exactly it’s such a necessity for so many people.

Now that I live with my fiancé, he got a Roku with Sling TV. Seems like a pretty good amount of channels. I mostly watch sports and it has a good selection of sports channels.

We have a Mohu Leaf antenna and get about 30 channels over the air crystal clear. And we have Netflix. That's it.

Nothing. Why do you need channels?

We do Netflix. That is all. Don't need t but it is nice for kid movies, etc.

Oh and do you get any live channels or is it all just streaming?

We currently have an absurdly high Verizon bill every month and want to cut it. So here are my questions:

How much do you pay for internet service?
What speeds?
What channels/services do you stream, how do you get them, and how much do you pay for them? (Like direct tv? playstation vue? you tube's new service? CBS all access? Hulu?)
What device do you use to stream them (e.g. roku, apple tv, etc.)?

So many options and we just don't know where to start....
