But remember in which country you're in. Here they don't teach this in public school, and since they don't teach love of learning either, here we are: with uneducated boors.

I'm not defending whatever garbage they said. But you've got to have some perspective.

When the Catholic Church very publicly came out denouncing the drugs and precautions needed to prevent the wide scale spread of AIDs because of its position that homosexuality is a sin, I think it's fine to question religion altogether.

To look back and see how Cardinal O'Connor says use of condoms is immoral, saying homosexuality is a sin...

Well, I know of course this is old news. But looking back just 20 years ago, and thinking about how people are actually debating whether this plague was brought on by the lord as a punishment.

That's when I became an Atheist.
