Trying to understand the PGCPS policy on recess.
New policy states ".....2) Recess
a. It is recommended that elementary schools set aside 30 minutes each day for recess. At a minimum, 20 minutes must be allocated.
b. It is recommended that daily recess period to occur prior to lunch.
c. Withholding of recess as a punishment is prohibited."
So under this policy is taking 5 min of a 20 min recess away allowed as punishment?
