NP here. I think the show is Scientology's harbinger of the end. Their business model is based on loyalty through mind control and using celebrities as a recruitment tool. It's harder to control minds when you have the internet. And the celebrity tactic backfired big time with many of these celebs becoming huge liabilities.

David Miscavige's niece, Jenna Miscavige Hill, wrote a book about growing up in Scientology. Although her writing (or her ghostwriter's writing) is a little dry, the stories are still fascinating.
