I had a bad cold leading up to my IUI and it actually interfered with my stims, making my cycle SUPER long. Anyway, we still moved forward and I got a BFP that cycle. Good luck!!

I think it's ok unless you have a high fever

I think they only cancel if you have a fairly high fever.

Sore throat can be an issue for anesthesia but you won't need that for IUI. I would proceed.

I had a cold for an IUI and an egg retrieval once and they went ahead with both. I think you'll be okay.

I had a terrible cold (coughing, congestion, acghy body) on the day of and days leading to iui and they said that my cold would not interfere. I took a hpt and it is clearly positive!

Never heard of cancelling for illness. I suppose if it were really severe but a sore throats sounds pretty common

I am supposed to have my IUI tomorrow afternoon. Throughout the course of today, I've developed a sore throat which by now has become excruciating, which makes me worry about possible strep. Will these symptoms impact my ability to proceed with the IUI? I obviously want to go for it (already done trigger shot and everything), but I doubt that's up to me. I am tempted to keep this information to myself, but I suppose that's not wise. Anyone have any experience/knowledge regarding whether being ill on the day of IUI will be a problem?
