This! Compounded by the fact that our line of business leads to a lot of "You can't make this stuff up" moments. I tend to go for Survivor, myself, But I really like the Andy Cohen / reunion show idea. I'll have to start using that one.
In the confessional i would point out that I have another offer and fully intend to jump ship. That alone has accounted for 90% of my attitude adjustment

I've been at my company for nearly 15 years. There have been great phases and awful phases, and everything in between.
When it sucks, I just remember that this too shall pass. It might only be part of a week, or it might be a year-long project, but whatever it is, I just put my head down and power through it. Better times are ahead.
That, and I remind myself that it's just a job. I live for what is outside of work. Nothing at the office is worth damaging my health (stress) or relationships with my family. This actually took the most work, I'm naturally very passionate about work and get overinvested in projects (the good and the bad...), but I've had to consciously dial it back. Not independently wealthy, so have to work to pay the bills. How do you cultivate the kind of attitude and perspective that lets you be grateful for the good things about your job and keep the bad things in perspective?
