I tell DW if someone checks her out, she usually doesn't believe it. For example we were at beach and a group of younger guys were checking her out as she walked by. I told her and she didn't believe me saying she is too old for them to be checking her out.
DW does get mad if another woman flirts with me or checks me out

I have no problem telling my wife that someone is checking her out and saying who it is. It's fun for her and I feel pretty good too. I remember once saying that I feel sorry for the guy and she asked why and I said "because I'm the one hopping in the sack with you tonight!".

Of course spouse 2 wants to know who it is. Spouse 1 should have kept their mouth shut if the most normal follow-up question was going to upset them. Spouse 1 sounds kind of manipulative, frankly.

Spouse 1 tells Spouse 2 they saw someone checking out Spouse 2. Spouse 2 wants to know who it was. Spouse 1 gets upset because they perceive Spouse 2 wants to check that person out and see how they compare to Spouse 1. Spouse 2 claims they were just curious and found the whole thing funny.

Who is right? Is it wrong to want to see who was checking you out when someone brings it to your attention?
