Summer pool membership is different and you can get that just for the season. Call them

Is it true that the wait list is about 7 years?
There is nothing mentioned about a wait list on the website. The real estate agent told me that if a family lives in boundary, one person will get a membership after completing the paperwork and paying the dues, and the family can attend for free.
