The terms of service say that you agree to use arbitration and can't join a class action suit against them. CFPB is cautioning people about using the site.

I work for the Federal government and my information has been hacked twice. I think my information was also hacked through one of the recent breaches at a private company (Target?). Honestly, I can't keep up anymore.

I think it's time to rethink the whole idea of "secure" personally identifiable information (SSN, DOB, etc.).

Ugh we ar military and therefore have dealt with identity theft 3 times now in the last 5 years.


The real scam are the 3 credit bureaus themselves--- explain to me why I have to pay THEM to find out my own financial situation? And honestly kudos to the hackers... what a perfect place to go. They now how all my financial info tied up with my ssn- two birds!

Ha! I always knew this would happen. There is absolutely no reason certain information needs to be stored in a manner that is accessible externally.

The website they set up to deal with this is absolutely awful. It gives me even less faith in them than they did before because it doesn't even work the way they say it will work, and they're delaying enrollment.
