For super smart, St. Anselm's would be a better fit. Gonzaga and Prep are fine schools, but St. Anselm's would be a better fit if academic rigor was a major factor. The sports aren't anywhere close to Gonzaga or Prep, but a sport kid might find he's more the star, rather than just another sporty kid if he chose St. Anselm's.

The Heights seems like it has much to offer. But I can't figure out why one would choose them over Prep or Gomzaga.

Where are the VA shuttles. Also for the little kids-how is the bus ride with older kids. I worry about bullying with such age differences but would need bus service to make it work. How are the facilities? I am going to tour but would love a heads up.

Many conservative, but not Opus Dei families. Consider Abalon if you want a bit more moderate school.

Our DS completed 3rd grade last year. Almost half of the 3rd grade families were from Northern Va.

We are exploring this school for 2018/2019. We are a Catholic family from Virginia. Wondering how many Va kids-3rd grade. We are conservative Catholic but not Opus Dei.
