Ladies, forget about going to a strip club and go get a massage from a male masseuse. I'm talking about a legitimate place, not some dive that gives happy ending massages. It can be incredibly relaxing and tension releasing. I adore my husband and we have a great sex life but any time he attempts to give me a massage it lasts about five minutes before he wants to move on to more fun things. I'm not complaining but a great massage is wonderful.

Keep in mind, for the men the reality of a strip club is, it's the last place you would go to get any kind of sexual attention, release, or sex of any kind. Their are huge bouncers stationed at strategic points all around the club watching everyone to make sure nothing gets out of hand.
Most guys know this and can simply enjoy the fun with their friends. Just like any bar but with naked women to look at.

Then there are those guys... The ones who actually hang out at strip clubs, know all the strippers, and think they have a chance if they spend enough money every week. Because other than paying a woman to get naked, they don't have the social skills to entice a regular woman who isn't working.

They are easy to spot at the clubs and the strippers love them. They come alone and hang out, spending half their paycheck. THEY are the ones who pay the bills on a steady basis. Not the big group of guys or the bachelor party.

As long as you H isn't one of them and only goes with his guy friends, you are probably OK. Why don't you ask to go with him some time on a date night. Demystify the place and see how silly it all is.

I understand your reply, but this isn't something I'm willing to break my family up over. I'm looking for something to make me feel like I'm not on the wrong side of a double standard. We've talked about this at length and he (as respectfully as possible) says it's not often and he doesn't think there's a problem and I need to figure out my problem with this. FYI, all of the other wives don't care at all (I've talked with them), and they also don't have the same feelings as I do. My husband thinks I should be out doing the same and then maybe he'd feel differently. I really want to give myself (and him) that opportunity. I would really appreciate to hear if anyone else has been in a similar situation and how you dealt with it. I still think doing it myself is my best option.

Instead of trying to even the score w/your husband OP, I strongly suggest you take the high road on this.

Talk to your spouse.
Let him know how you feel about him having lap dances, etc.

I have issues with my husband going to strip clubs and getting lap dances. It doesn't come up often, but he's been to a number of bachelor parties and guys weekends this year, and it's really bugging me. I hate the thought of him and another woman humping each other with one thin layer of clothing separating them (jealous). I think it would make me feel much better if I could do the same with another guy. I know this is childish mentality, but it would help me with my jealousy. However, I have done a tiny bit of research and I can't even find a male strip club where the guys give lap dances fully nude (none of this revue bs). Are there any straight male, fully nude clubs?
