Well, I will object slightly. I live in District 1 (Laurel) and I'm pretty happy with our representative, David Miller. Before I had kids, David was a high school student who was on the BoE as a non-voting student rep. He was trying to change the system while he was still a student. He ran unsuccessfully twice losing by less than 1000 votes. He has finally been elected (I've voted all 3 times for him and I've never even met him). I don't always agree with his positions, but I find it refreshing that someone that young is that inspired, diligent and hard-working to strive to improve the system he was a part of.
I voted and talked others into voting for him because I did not like how our representation at the time was handling our school board. Most of the rest of the school board is just like Rosalind Johnson, the person who inspired me to support David. I agree that the rest should be voted out, but I like David Miller's work ethic.
