Well this is scary

It must have happened while kids were in school as kids knew about the "breach".

Confirmed via email from the school. Apparently, someone entered through a side door that had been propped.

What a difficult beginning of the year it's been.

It may have been someone inside the building though, right?

Third grade is upstairs, which means the culprit spent a bit of time wandering around the school.

There has been no communication from the school about this. Pick-up is so chaotic that I can imagine how someone could slip in unnoticed.

This happened at another JKLM last spring to a few teachers. Police reports were filed.

Can you please find some way to verify this? School is excellent with safety related information and notifying parents. No email from school as of 9 am.

The security officers at our school are worthless. Sit behind a counter and in a surly voice demand parents you know they recognize to sign in. Actually providing security, such as escorting single students safely
to their demountable classroom is too much.

Supposedly a man entered the building and stole money and teachers credit cards on Friday. What's the purpose of having 2 security officers?!
