Don't do it. If she struggles in spelling and writing it is better she spends more time doing English language arts than splitting that time with Spanish. She will not be anywhere near fluent after 2 years in immersion. She will understand some and speak some phrases but that knowledge will quickly fade if she doesn't use it later on.

My daughter is great at math and reading but horrible at writing and spelling. We only have 2 years here. On one hand the Spanish immersion would be beneficial for her obviously but is it enough to have her almost fluent? Or do I emphasize her to "master" the basics of writing and spelling before trying to tackle a Spanish Immersion?
