We did not have a small kid or use the kids club. I saw them occasionally and it seemed like the kids were having fun but I obviously can't recommend it one way or the other.

We considered Beach Palace but couldn't find information about the kids' club. Did you travel with small kids? Did you use the kids' club? How was it?

We currently have a (cancelable) reservation at Paradisus La Esmeralda in Playa del Carmen for a family vacation with our two kids (5 and 2.5) but I'm a bit concerned that the beach is not going to be very nice. Can anybody comment on the beach at Paradisus La Esmeralda and/or suggest another resort with a nicer beach?
