This makes me laugh. I had good parents. I definitely made some bad choices! Mostly good choices, but definitely some bad ones also. I wish it were that easy!
On average. I'm sure you turned out fine, but your parents actually gave you the opportunity to learn and grow... they didn't whirl their helicopter blades at you when you snapchatted a teen mom.
Oh, yes, I did turn out fine. I just love PP's smugness that all she has to do is be a good parent to ensure her kids will make good choices. Kids do stupid things all the time.

When I was 16 I knew plenty of teen moms, and was close friends with 2. It worked as a low-budget scared straight program for me, and I didn't even have sex until 21.
Sweetie some of us actually parent out teens and not just throw in the towel the minute they hit high school hope for the best and ask helpless.

If you were effectively parenting your teen to that point, you wouldn't be so worried about her consorting with someone you deem unworthy. Good parents know that their kids will make good choices.

If female, yes if she is very grounded and has goals, ambitions and another set of friends. She could be a good influence on this girl.
If male, no way.
Mi agree with this.

Anonymous wrote:Absolutely! Then she can see how impossibly hard it is first hand.
Not to mention, I'm not too much into the habit of policing my child's friendships. She's a teen mom, not a heroin addict.
