Subject: How do you handle bitchy co-workers?
I do every thing in email.
I apologize publicly for my mistakes if they try to call me out.
I just always try to be pleasant.
In short, I own my job and don't engage in their pettiness. Everyone starts to see through them eventually.

When I first transitioned from the public sector to private, I worked in an office with an adult mean girl squad. They were three to five years younger than me. They had been the prettiest and most popular girls at their high school I guess. They were used to getting their way. After a month of their BS, I called them out on it. They were mortified. They had no idea how obvious it was. Blunt was the best way to go.

Everyone is assuming that OP is normal and competent. But if the "bitch" is talking to everyone else, maybe OP really is the problem.

I usually submit to their bitchiness. Only to totally turn into a Grande biitch myself a few weeks or months later when I have had it. And then of course I am made to look like the bad person. I just want to get along with everyone, but some of these women feel it is their personal job to make everyone's life miserable.

I ignore them. Don't even give them eye contact when they try to talk to me. Give as many one word answers as possible. Granted, the bitchy coworker has no friends anyways.
