Subject: What websites do you use to find colleges?
Last time we were looking at colleges, I really liked the search on College Confidential, and the way it would allow you to set uncommon parameters, and also type in a school and let you compare it with the list of parameters. So, when the search feature went down during my DS's junior year, I was disappointed.
The new one just came up, so we put in all his information, or rather the limited amount of information it asked for, and got a list of 2 schools. Both were single sex women's colleges so not options for him. Because the list of what to put in was so short (e.g. on the old website you could select "coed" as a criteria), I could think of other schools that fit the criteria we entered perfectly that they didn't suggest them, nor did they offer any feature that would tell me why those schools were rejected.
So, I'm wondering if there are other websites for finding colleges that I should know about. Suggestions?
