Wow...Shame on you for writing this. Really, how can you sleep at night? You're a terrible person.

Huh?

You ask "huh"??!! That was a rude , cold comment. Lots of kids go there and they
Are human beings, kids just like your children. Sure maybe it's not the "best" school
And there is always room for improvement ...and news flash..even at the "top rated " schools.

How thoughtless of you...but the fact that you don't even realize how insensitive
your comment was speaks volumes. SMH

Go back on meds.

That's why I added that I don't know JAES...Not lecturing you or anyone about the school.Lecturing you about your poor choice of words.

Do you have anything substantive to add about JAES? Have your children attended? Please share.

And btw I wasn't offended...but others might be.

And btw I don't have kids at JAES and don't know anything about the school. But I like to call out nastiness when I see it. If you're ok with what you wrote and haven't thought twice about it , so be it ...but I feel sorry for your children (and your dog).

I wouldn't care. I generally don't get hurt over comments made on an anonymous message board.

And wow- irony! Someone who knows NOTHING about JAES lecturing someone who does know/have personal experience with it for sharing their opinions on the school? k.

*I* wouldn't send my kids there. Is that not what OP asked? "Would YOU go public or private?" and I responded with my answer to that question. If that makes you uncomfortable, perhaps internet message boards aren't for you.

Would definitely visit and consider JAES. Have friends who are happy there. The school will be getting smaller in 2018 due to redistricting and the PTA has been involved in getting afterschool clubs, etc. I visited for an open house and was really impressed, especially with the music program. Yes, the kids are from diverse backgrounds and, quite frankly, they might not all look and have the same HHI and as the typical DCUM kid.

Are you comfortable telling saying why? When I visited JA last year and traffic was gridlocked and no parking. I'm not catholic, so Catholic curriculum is a con. Class size is a con. School tuition is lower than most private schools in the area which is a pro.
