So they actually engineered a sting operation in their home to catch her stealing? Planting drugs to see if she would take them? And then talked about it with other people behind your SOL's back? What a sorry group.

I guess so. Can't say why they handled it this way, but they did. I would have put up cameras myself. Lol.

In any case, they called my DH and told him because they wanted him to bring it up with her.

No, she doesn't have kids. And that kid left and the charger was still there.

Just ask for it back. You're making this a bigger thing than it is. Also, it's super weird that you record your own house - airBNB or not. Do people know that you're recording them? That sounds illegal.

Why would someone think the charger that I plugged into the socket in my house is hers?

I know, but we Airbnb so yeah, it makes sense. And now it makes sense to keep it on when she comes over.

It was probably an accident. I once grabbed my friends phone instead of mine. Just text her and let her know you need it to charge your phone.

We had a bunch of family members over for dinner last night. One of the younger kids asked for an iPhone charger so he could play his games.

MIL and SIL were the last to leave and as I was going to bed, I went to get my charger and couldn't find it.

DH checked our canary that was facing the family room and sure enough, SIL straight up took my charger out of the socket and put it in her purse. WTF.
