I have a relative who is 75. His wife died almost 20 years ago. He is single and he dates some. Here is what he told me: "I am happier than I have been in 50 years, single and without a woman." He is also rich. He does have a fantastic lifestyle.

I've been divorced for a year and have no problem stating that I would like to remarry. Even though I'm a natural introvert, life is more fun with a companion.

Men like having someone take care of them in old age. No matter how rich they are, especially if they're rich. Women on the other hand, who are rich, seems much likely to care less - they just hire out services. It's a strange conundrum.

It's not really strange.

When you think 'caregiver', "man" does not come to mind. So that would not be a woman's reason.

I like being in a relationship and being good to someone. In a weird way, it reaffirms what I want to believe about myself - that I'm a good person. Dating or my previous relationship didn't allow me to support that belief.

I also found an awesome woman with a great butt who happened to like me too. 14 years later we're still very happy (and lucky).

How does getting remarried prove that? People aren't interchangeable like light bulbs --that one's a dud because the next one works!

You can have this without marriage

After that second little pink line appears, it's safe for nine months.
