You don't have to reciprocate a follow on Instagram the way you do on Facebook. You can follow the class Insta, and if she requests to follow you, you can either just ignore the follow or block her (whichever works best for you). I follow lots of people on Insta who don't follow me, and vice-versa. I also block liberally.

If it's just FB, you do have the ability to control what posts people see. I'm FB friends with the headmaster and I routinely select "Friends except" and then specify him.

Our sons K teacher sent us a postcard (how sweet) and told us to learn more about her to visit a classroom social media page. It's private, not sure if I want my sons teacher to be able to see my social media in return.. thoughts?
