Nirvana - Man Who Sold The World

Those are the two that always come into mind as covers being so much better than originals.

Who was the original singer to Because The Night? I had no idea that was a cover.

I clicked on this thread to say Natalie Merchant's version of Because the Night. The version that is usually played on the radio, anyway- something about the way her voice breaks when she sings "take me now." She really sounds in the moment.
