+2. IUIs with Femara / Letrozole. Better for PCOS patients than Clomid. And continue the thyroid meds and metformin.
OP, suggest you start with Dr Abbasi at Columbia Fertility Associates. Bring your prior records. She is experienced with treating the issues you describe, including the thyroid issues. (I don't suggest Shady Grove because they are not good for thyroid stuff.) Femara to cause you to ovulate early, plus trigger shot and IUI, could do the trick. And staying on the synthroid and metformin will lower your chances of miscarriage.
I did this regime, plus additional meds for blood clotting and immune issues, and had a successful pregnancy off my first IUI with Abbasi. And I was 36. At 27 or 28 you have a great chance assuming no other issues. And if there are other issues, an RE will be better suited to find them.
