Subject: Getting a job as a 911 dispatcher.
I would think you have to wait until closing. Many of these jobs have mandated overtime, FYI. And if the rest of your schedule is hectic I hope that you are still able to be totally alert and on the ball at all times because people's lives depend on it.

Advice? Going through the county website to apply. Anyone BTDT? As of now, I'm a nursing student and I'm looking into jobs that I can work with having a hectic school schedule.
It seems that the county's application system is only open between x date and x date so I'm wondering if I have to wait till the closing date to have my application read/considered?
