Yup. I am headache prone generally and very sensitive to barometric pressure. Though as a migraine sufferer I like it when it rains because a pressure headache is fairly easily addressed with Advil and I am less likely to get migraines when it's overcast (extremely light sensitive and lots of bright sunlight can trigger a migraine or make it "blossom" very quickly).

I am a bit of a hot house flower due to headaches. I wish there was a cure for migraines.

Its all about the ions and the pressure in the air.
Me too, forever.

I am so happy reading this. My Doctor said it is in my head. Since I had COVID in 2020, I get a headache when it's cloudy outside.

I hate Maryland summers (and our "springs," too for that matter). We traveled north in July, and my headaches disappeared.

As soon as we arrived home, they returned. The humidity is too much here.

I have this issue, too. The headache pills with acetaminophen and caffeine are a godsend for me.

It's very real. I get migraines when the barometric pressure drops before a storm, or when a front moves in. I'm just getting over a two day migraine, and I understand there is a front moving in after the past couple of days of storms. It completely sucks.

I do everything I can to mitigate the oncoming migraine, but they usually break through anyway. Weather is a huge trigger for me.

I always get a terrible headache when the weather goes from cold and cloudy to warm and sunny. This happens in the spring and fall, mostly. When everyone else is feeling all free and easy because of the weather improvement, I'm wishing it was still cold and cloudy.

Happens to me too. Sadly, there's nothing to be done about it.

It's the change in pressure and absolutely a real thing.

It's quite common, OP, and many people suffer from pressure-triggered headaches or migraines. You should do some research on this and consult your doctor if the pain is too much.

The faster the pressure changes, the worse the headache is. I get them when pressure drops (when there's a storm coming or lots of rain), but my friend gets really bad migraines when pressure goes suddenly up or down.

Same thing happens to me. The headache tends to let up after the rain.

Totally normal and not strange at all. I know many people who have this. The small blood vessels in your brain and other places are sensitive to the change in pressure. When it's about to rain the pressure changes from high to low. When the pressure drops, more blood goes through the vessel and can cause swelling and increased inflammation which is what you're feeling.

This just isn't in my head BTW and has been this way almost my whole adult life. Anyone with this? Its so strange. I can kinda "tell" when its about to rain too.
