Well, a little advice.

You never get back what you put in no matter how much life you give up for them.

This is where people come to judge and be judged.

This forum is quite tame. Start a threat about the usual mommy war topics, but make some popcorn first. Feel free to search for WOH/SAH, bottle or breast, and curcumcision. People get very nasty.

Don't like what I do with my teen? I'm sorry, but I just don't give a damn what they think. I've been a parent long enough to find my way. I suspect a lot of the more rude responses on this forum are from parents of younger kids posting here. The methods of their earlier years are not going to work with teens. It's difficult to grasp the concept of teens managing most of their own decisions when you have a 5 year old.

If someone said "Should I give my 16 year old a bedtime?' and they will be like "Are you mentally insane?" or "Is this post even real?", I mean I don't agree with there way of doing things but a simple no would suffice.

Don't you know? Your way is wrong because it's not exactly like my way, which is 100% correct.

If you put it out there on a public forum, particularly an anonymous one, you should be prepared for all possible responses.

Must not have followed closely enough to notice. Don't forget DCUM is not real life! People let loose here, and are much nicer face to face.
