Eat clean, drink lots of water and get LOTS of sleep. If you're worried about losing your fitness level, don't. Your body will return to its pre-illness level within a week or two of restarting exercise after recovery.

Hope you feel better and come back with a vengeance.

I wouldn't work out with a fever
-If it's a cold - ok if it is in your head, rest if it is in your chest.

Fever? Never.

A little congestion/cold? Fine, but take it down as needed. Also, keep it outside at home - don't go to the gym even if you have a small cold.

I have a summer cold that has been brewing for a while. Main symptom is a dry hacking cough. Up until today I pushed through with my regular workouts but I skipped my run this morning because I was up half the night coughing. What is your approach to working out when not very sick but also not 100%?
