You need to be confident to pull them off. It's also a "know your office environment" situation. But overall, I like them.

I think she may have started wearing them to draw attention from her fluctuating skin and hair problems. Very impressed she dealt with this and thrived.

This is generally my opinion of women who wear bold glasses. I do love the look but I don't think I could pull it off myself. I work in the same building as a woman who has a few pairs of bold glasses--cat eye shapes, colors, and they all look awesome on her. But she's got that sexy-nerd vibe and funky clothing and it all just works for her.

My neighbor is a pretty blonde mom in her 30s who is slim and stylish. She wears big black glasses sometimes. They look funky and cool. I could not pull it off but she does it well.

It suits her nose.

We all have to remember that we have to pick stuff to suit our figures, not the things that look good on someone else.

I think when you have a larger or stronger nose like this person does, DO NOT wear glasses like this, or it looks like those old 'glasses, big nose, moustache' grouch marx gag costumes.

I think if you have finer features, the glasses are overpowering and still look costumey, just without the 'big nose' appearance. Maybe a smaller lens if you are going to go with such thick frames.

I think you really have to have a style/panache/confidence that can support them, by which I mean they're just an accessory to your strong style/panache/confidence.

I'm not sure that's the case with Jenna Lyons. It appears to be, but would you recognize her without them? There's kinda nothing there.

I wouldn't want them to be my only pair. They are very large and overpowering. If you can afford two, then they would be fun but those glasses are wearing her, not the other way around.

She can get away with them somewhat because she is in charge of JCrew, but the rest of us would be trying too hard.

I think glasses should suit your face.

I'm due for an eye appointment and saw a pair of chunky frames I thought looked good. But I don't want to be a Jeanne devotee. What do you think when you see women wearing these? Hipster? Trying too hard?
