Our DD broke her first tooth 5 days ago at 9m. Before that, she had fussy instances that we (and lots of friends) attributed to "teething." We did not do anything about the former, but we could tell that it was different when the actual tooth came. We gave her Tylenol at night four nights in a row. It seems to have helped. You could try give her Tylenol. If she is not in pain, it won't make any difference, but if you see a significant impact, you know it helped. My understanding is that you should not give Tylenol on an empty stomach, so right after the evening bottle makes the most sense.
