No, except for eyeliner in the 80s.

I don't know why they couldn't wear concealer. Why should they have to show bad skin?

Of course some men wear makeup, especially younger men. I would guess most people on here are in their 30s and 40s so probably not as familiar with it.

Why the strong no reactions?

Men also have skin issues, pimples, etc that make-up can help cover up. They also can have bags under their eyes or wrinkles or scars or other features to cover up.

As part of equality, I think we should be encouraging men to be empowered to wear make-up if they want to.

No. They don't. I have a 27 year old son, a 25 year old son, and a 19 year old son. I can say with 100% certainty that none of them wear make-up. Nor do any of the friends that I've met. My 27 year old is visiting with his wife and child. I just asked him if any guy he knows wears concealer. He said "Hell no."
