I mean seriously, would you even want to waste time at dinner with someone who would not consider you with a kid? Appalling to me if you would do this. .... maybe you should consider whether some family member would be better off raising your kid if that is your attitude.

If he wouidn't give you a chance if he knew you had a child, then he's really not someone you want to go out with ANYWAY! Unless you're just looking for a one-night stand or no strings attached fun.

But you and your child are a package deal - he can't have one without the other. And if you're not upfront with him and he becomes invested in the way you're hoping, he may feel manipulated or deceived when you tell him the truth.

Oh dear, rereading that, it sounds horrible! I love my child more than anything, I just want this guy to get to know me for me first. Does that make sense?
