yes, they do, but that's after they've tossed aside the applications without AP/IB level coursework. The weighted GPA points to the rigorous coursework.

Ditto for Falls Church City. Only IB, DE and AP courses weighted +1, not honors.

In FCPS, .5 is added for Honors and 1.0 is added for AP and post AP classes for HS classes (even ones taken in MS). They never show the non-weighted GPA, only the weighted GPA.

I'm looking at my son's report card and don't see how the AP/Honors GPA bump is applied. Is there anywhere we can go to see exactly what each class grade works out to? Sorry if I'm not asking this in the right way - the whole process is so confusing to me. TIA.
