I understand how they came up with the name, but I don't understand why.
Because she IS the Queen. Nobody does it better. I'm not a huge fan, but she is a great entertainer. I went to the Mrs. Carter concert--took my DD and I can't lie. It.Was.Phenomenal. She and her team knows how to put on a show. She has a real artistic vision and he fans completely buy into it.

Isn't that an opinion, though?
Are you familiar with the popularity of Michael Jackson, Elvis, Beatles, Rolling Stones, etc? It's the same concept. Their fans idolize them.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:People idolize celebrities. They want to know everything about them so they can feel close to them. Are you familiar with celebrities acquiring or desiring nicknames to enhance their personal brand? Do you understand personal branding and fan service?
Honestly, no. I don't watch much TV or movies, and when I do, I don't know who the actors are. On the rate occasion I do know who they are, I won't seek out something else just becuase they're in it.

Anonymous wrote:I keep seeing articles on Yahoo about her. Granted, I don't listen to her kind of music, but I don't understand why her having children is news - or why the media has all sorts of cutesy names for her. Do people actually refer to her as Queen Bey and such?
Maybe it's celebrity in general I don't understand, I don't know. Help me get it.
