Good sex, good communication, dinner and a baseball game? Truly, a home run <snicker>.

My kind of girl.

DDinTysons: even though I am married, I want a cross between FWB and boyfriend. Would be nice to go to a Nats game or dinner once in a while, but what I really want is good sex and good communication.

It's much much more for me than sex and holding hands.
Soulmate, protective and caring, someone I can rely on in bad situations and share happiness with.
I invest 100% in relationship and expect the same return.
I have it all. Met him a little later in life, after few, many, actually, disappointments .

And monogamous, while we are an item.

Poster at 16:36 - Does a "boyfriend" mean monogamous sex, hold hands at the movies, drink wine at Evo Bistro and stare into each others eyes?

Would you be happy with just monogamous sex when you could fit it in? Skip the movies and drink wine with your friends when your XH has the kids?

I think all of us (even on DCUM) agree life is way better when you are in love. However, until you are on the Love Boat how do you make do?

Boyfriend. Second husband when I have an empty nest.

Why would a guy agree to be monogamous if you don't stay in regular contact and have sex only once a week?

NP

more than weekly is regular contact, nobody needs to talk every single day

The OP asked what she is looking for, she answered the question. If you don't like the offer move on. So many men are not getting it once a week so most would be happy with that.

Friends with no benefits.

Not wanting benefits makes you a good friend. The quid pro quo relationships are what has ruined relationships.

Easy answer - someone who is kind, intelligent, has a sense of humor and shares some of my interests so we can spend time together doing things we both enjoy. I'm 54 and have little interest in re-marrying but I do still really enjoy sex. A friend without benefits is of little interest but I have no interest in someone just for benefits. At my age I think FWB's are reserved for married people who are in a sexless marriage.

Ladies: Please tell us - What are you looking for? Is a boyfriend (and how would you define that term) or a "friend with benefits" (and how would you define that term)? What makes a good boyfriend or a good FWB? The answer to this question is more vaulable than gold.
