I agree, talk to your kid but stay out of it.

I guess you should tell her. But if your DD didn't look at it, and she is ok then maybe leave it a few days and think about it.

I went for a sleepover when I was 13 and my friend put on the Playboy channel around midnight. I was stunned. (obviously her dad subscribed).

We were caught because her mom had passed out (drunk) on a sofa in the next room and it woke her.

I'd like to know just so I could discuss it with my kid. Not because I think it's bad, but just kind of to have a talk about how some of the stuff is fake, etc.

I dont really think its a huge deal. 12 year olds look at porn. I can remember in the early 90s waiting for our AOL dial up to connect so we could type in "hard penis" in the search engine. We weren't pervy or "bad" or anything…just 12 and curious.

Please call. That is not OK in my house, and I would want to know, for my son AND my daughter.

Yikes. You will probably get varied responses, but I would call the mom--not because of judgement or outrage, but out of concern. I would want to know if I was her mother.

Did your DD report this to you? Or did you hear it from another source?
