First marriage is usually the true love.
Usually yes. But is this really about true love and feelings (which change on the fly) or what's appropriate???
No one's loving anybody in the after life.

Whichever one he said? If he didn't pick, let the living spouse pick, as she probably knew her role. If both wives are deceased, let the kids pick, as either is "appropriate."

Because of religious beliefs, none of the 3 want cremation.

Husband remarries.
When hubby dies, is he buried with the 1st wife or 2nd?
Their children are adults who, one would assume, will create their own families.
