I agree with this. I use a Trader Joe's brand from India and it comes out perfectly every time. I boil 2 cups of water and also add a 1/4 tsp of salt and sometimes a tiny bit of butter. When the water is rapidly boiling add 1 cup of rice and stir for 10 seconds, close the lid and reduce the heat to the lowest possible setting. Cook for 25 minutes and rice is cooked.
Honestly, the best way to get perfect rice is to have a 2 to 1 ratio of water to rice. If it's not exact rice comes out either mushy or hard.
