It's petty and passive aggressive, but I get it and I'd be tempted to do it too. You're hurt, and at some level you want her to know it. But then move on with your life. Definitely don't go checking to see what she posts next. It's really not worth it.

Unfollow her. This isn't be petty. It's about deciding what you want to see. That's all.

Is she taking YOUR posts and doing this with them? Yeah, I'd be pretty offended. And I would opt out of the share feature for a while. Or place her on a restricted friends list.

Some relationships are not meant for FB. I have friends I feel this way about. So I'd just unfollow her.

Sometimes I like seeing the other side, if it's presented in a rational way without any name calling.

Unfollow. She has the right to say whatever she wants, even if you don't like it.

I don't know how your relationship is with her, but maybe a gentle reminder is in order. She might not understand that everyone she's fb friends with sees her comments. Find a way to tell her that Aunt Linda or her book club ladies are seeing her posts and will be offended at being called a moron.

My mother and I have completely different views on pretty much everything. Lately, she's been "sharing" posts and links that relate to her opinions, and adding comments like, "I have zero respect for anyone who believes this" or "anyone who thinks this way is a complete moron" and things like that. I am just about done and thinking of blocking her access to my information and then unfollowing her. Is this petty? I have a thick skin for most things, but I feel she posts most of this to be spiteful.
